Now there comes one disaster after the other for Bernd the
Bread. Actually all he wants is to be left alone - but it remains just a godly request as
long as he keeps living in a house with Chili the Sheep and Briegel the Bush. In Bernds
bizarre-sympathic world one adventure chases the other. As from Saturday, September 13th
2008 KIKA shows the second season of Bernd the Bread. The new episodes of the
comedy show will be presented as double features at prime time, every Saturday at 08.15
p.m.
Invited as well as uninvited guests will make sure in 20 new episodes that there will
never be silence in the Schlossallee 27, home of Bernd and his friends Chili and Briegel:
Once Klaus Marschall and Kasperle from the Augsburg Puppet Box visit them unexpectedly.
Lord Dingdong (Thomas Fritsch) wants to encash ominous betting depts. The music band
Hotstuff perform of all things in Bernds hideaway, in his soundproof music room with their
boosters on and the bailiff challenges Bernds nerves immensly: somehow everything turns
into chaos. And mainly even Bernd has to interfere to avoid an ultimate disaster.
Crap Bernd says then. Dont be that bready his friends reply.
That means no comfort to Bernd. Because: Thats how he is! A tinloaf never coming out
of his crust.
And if thats not bad enough Chili is on the hunt for new sport challenges as usual.
Briegel creates crazier technical gadgets as usual that - in Bernds opinion - have only
one purpose: to break his peace and to infuriate his neighbors.
Bernd sees it coming.
Mrs. Dr. Dr. Potzler (Susanne Pätzold) threatens over the fench (Mister Bread, you
will pay for this!). The wealhy, rich neighbor Antonio (Franco Melis) complains. And
constable Budimtschitsch (Norman Cöster) writes the tickets as always while Mr. Potzler
(Axel Strohmeyer) doesnt dare to encounter the general outrage. On the other side
however actually shy Anastasia Potzler (Milena Tscharntke) recognizes after some time that
she can have a lot of fun with her three friends. On Bernds, Chilis and Briegels side
staunchly stay Mr. Mickelhun (Sven Philipp) and his children Biggi and Basti (Kara
McSorley and Josef Dragus).
Whats next - guests...
Like a filming crew in the Schlossallee already wouldnt bothering enough there are
prominent guest stars additionally in and around his home: Sabine Urig (Family Heinz
Becker, Good day, Mr. Doctor) plays a mayors wife.
Schools band Hotstuff which Bernd writer Tommy Krappweis got to know while
visitinng the Augsburg Puppet Box was engaged to perform in the Schossallee as guests. To
Bernds unfortune the rockband is suppoused to rehearse in his soundproof music room for a
performance. And the fact that these five young musicians even recorded a new song which
should speak from his soul doesnt comfort him: I say no! (The Band,
episode 27).
Bernd also inexpiably encounters Oliver K. Wnuk (Manitus Shoe, K3 -
Kripo Hamburg, Stromberg) who - as a bailiff - wants to encash money for
unpaid police tickets (Tipps from uncle, episode 3 . What is really shaky to him is the
appereance of Thomas Fritsch (My wonderful family, Hello Robbie!,
Happy trip, The wixxer) in the Schlossallee (Gambling depts,
episode 30). As Lord Dingdong he firmly claims that Bernds uncle Bornhelf Bread once bet
with him how the emu race would end and lost - with a big competitive appereance: his
house in the Schlossallee. Either paying or moving out, both options mean only one thing
to Bernd: Crap!
