* May 9th 1972 in Munich Mastermind was born into a body fit family. Throwing and falling correctly are still the basics of his ability to stand up unharmed while others already break their bones while watching. Tommy already was shot and beaten up as a young adult in the Bavarian wild west city „No Name City“ for the audience. His key experience however was his discover of stoicilly funny Buster Keaton. Today he owns about 100 celluloid copies of silent movies from 1900 to 1925. Besides he is a musician, director, conceptionist, writer – a typical allrounder and „physical comedian“ - and found the company „bumm film“. The company‘s name says everything – and it happens not to be accidentaly HIS idea.

Why do you work for the bumm film?

Because all this circus was my idea and now it‘s too late to run away. Well...

What is your main motivation?

The simple fact that I cannot do anything against it.

No sexual one. But intensive.

Norman Cöster‘s dentist.

Which performance are you especially proud of?

Of my very first movie I made when I was eight on Super 8.

...Bernd the bread. What am I suppoused to think of whenever I think of Bernd the bread?

What is your best way to relax?

Making music on stage.

What means a sore temptation to you?

Movies, books, music instruments.

What is your best spontaneous purchase?

LEGO Robotics Invention System 2.0.

What is the best you can cook?

Tea.

Who would you like to do a swap with with pleasure?

With a movie pionier of silent movie days.

What has been your biggest mistake so far?

Always the same: to agree arrangements looking like you could have lots of fun doing them only to realise afterwards that you can‘t eat fun.

On which program do you stop to zap from one chanel to another?

I prefer to go to the cinema or to watch DVDs. Otherwise cartoons (Batman or old Disney/Warner Bros cartoons) or documentaries.

From which program do you prefer to zap away?

Basically from all movies. I neither want to zap into a movie that has already started nor want to stand the commercial breaks and cuts. And I prefer to watch the original language version before the German dubbed one...

Is there anything about yourself you don‘t like?

My doglike sense of smell - 60 % of all people fail olfactoric . What dread, what dread...
